How to Set Up the Crypto.com Wallet

Step 1: Download the Crypto.com Wallet App

Search for “Crypto.com Wallet” in your app store. Look for the version with a white background and blue logo. Install the app on your phone.

Step 2: Choose How You Want to Use the Wallet

When you open the app, you’ll get two main options:

• Connect to the Crypto.com App (if you already have an account there)
• Create a New Wallet (no existing account needed)

Both options are fine — the wallet can work independently or alongside your Crypto.com account.

Step 3: Create a Secure Passcode

Next, you’ll be asked to create and confirm a passcode. This adds a layer of protection to keep your wallet locked when not in use.

Step 4: Back Up Your Recovery Phrase

This is the most crucial part.

• You’ll be shown a list of 12 words — your recovery phrase.
• Write each word down carefully on paper. Keep it in a safe place, away from anyone else.
• The app will ask you to confirm a few words to ensure you saved them correctly.

Never store this phrase online or share it with anyone. If you lose it, you may lose access to your wallet.

Step 5: Finish Setup and Get Your Wallet Address

Once the recovery phase is backed up, the app will finish setting up your wallet. You’ll see your wallet address on the screen.

If you decide to connect the wallet to your Crypto.com App:

• Choose the “Connect Wallet” option in the Wallet App.
